Questions About This Wig

Is this wig glueless?

Yes. The cap is designed for glueless wear, so adhesive is not required for normal use. The lace is not pre-cut, so carefully trim the excess lace before the first wear after confirming that the cap size, color, length and texture are correct. Choosing the right cap size is important for a comfortable, secure fit.

Is the lace pre-cut?

No. The lace arrives uncut so you can trim it to suit your natural hairline. Before cutting, try on the wig and inspect the fit, color, length, texture and lace. Cutting or altering the lace makes the wig ineligible for a preference-based return as an unused item; manufacturing concerns and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain subject to inspection and applicable law.

How do I choose my cap size and lace tone?

Measure circumference, front to back and ear to ear over the same flat hair foundation you plan to wear beneath the wig. Compare all three measurements with the Fit & Lace Guide. Choose Light, Medium or Deep lace by comparing it with the skin where the lace will sit in indirect natural daylight. If you are between sizes or outside the chart, contact HUGYOO before cutting the lace.

How long can this raw human hair wig last, and does it shed?

With proper care, a HUGYOO wig is designed to last 12 months or longer. Actual longevity varies with frequency of wear, texture, climate, heat, chemical processing, friction and maintenance. A small amount of natural shedding during detangling, washing and regular wear is normal for human hair and hand-tied lace. If shedding becomes sudden, concentrated or unusual, stop styling and contact us with clear photographs.

How does the Natural Black color look in different lighting?

Natural black keeps the color understated, allowing the texture and overall silhouette to take the lead. Natural daylight usually makes color variation easier to see, while warm indoor lighting may make the shade look warmer or deeper. Review the front, side and back images to assess the shade. Do not rely on a single image; screens and real-life lighting can create visual differences.

How should I care for the Water Wave texture?

Avoid dry brushing. With suitable moisture, detangle gently from the ends upward and carefully reshape the pattern with your fingers. Air-dry when possible without repeatedly disturbing the sections. Avoid heavy product buildup and do not make frequent high heat part of your normal pattern-refreshing routine.

How do I keep the Water Wave shape looking like the product images?

Transit or storage may compress the pattern. Place the wig on a stand, gently separate the sections, use suitable moisture and reshape with your fingers in the existing direction, then air-dry when possible. After washing, misting alone may not recreate the exact photographed finish. Avoid repeated high heat to restore the style. If a heat tool is needed, apply protectant, begin at the lowest effective setting and remain below 350°F / 177°C. Before trimming the lace for the first time, confirm the delivered color, length, cap fit and overall style.
